About GT22:
GT22 is inter (trans) disciplinary laboratory, which connects art, sport & life, and through organic growth and analysis establishes educational, research and production platform of audio-visual arts. GT22 is just over 1000 square meters of premises or headquarters, where currently a emerging online radio, theater experimental group, a team that develops urban film culture, Modrinjak Photo Museum and an active photo darkroom, hacker lab, skate enthusiasts, EX-garage, quite a few bands and an annual writer in the residence, found their place. GT22 is the headquarters of transnational guerrilla art, which operates under the patronage of the Foundation Sonda and the support of the Oset family on the Main Square (Glavni Trg, 22) in Maribor.
Our performance/exhibition named Living Walls (Žive Stene) – Photonic Moments 2014 was a full success. We transformed the gallery space into a darkroom and made our first photographic triptych on the wall! The audience got the chance to witness the creation of the last photograph – live accompanied with live music performed by Matija Dolenc (In Audio We Trust).

A short inverted story behind how we built our luxurious darkroom in GT22, Maribor (Slovenia) … Of course, the darkroom is finished only after the first film and the first print have been developed.

The hard work paid off, we made it stable and with no mistakes… A bit smaller then the first one (75 cm x 50 cm), but still a full success from the developing point of view.
More coming soon !
We organized our second cyanotype workshop at ŠKUC. After the success and interest of the first workshop, we were invited to do another one. This time we expanded the workshop by adding the possibility to post-process (bleaching & toning) the cyanotypes with coffee, black tea, vinegar and other substances. The developing was done with our UV box a.k.a. UV Sandra.
